Community Rules - Arphros

Introduction

Arphros is a creative, family-friendly rhythm game. Our community thrives on respect, fairness, and originality.

General Rules

• Play fair. Cheating, hacking, or using unauthorized mods is strictly prohibited.
• Be kind and respectful. Harassment, bullying, or starting fights is not allowed.
• Family-friendly content only. NSFW, explicit, or offensive content is strictly banned and will result in immediate ban.
• No hate speech. Racism, sexism, or similar content is strictly prohibited.
• No spamming or clogging up comments, chats, or forums.
• No self-promotion, advertisements, or unsolicited links in comments, direct messages, or levels. This includes any links or QR codes, even if they aren't social media links.
• No personal information. Protect your privacy and others'.
• No sharing accounts. Each account is for one user only.
• No political content. Political discussions, statements, or content are not permitted.
• Use common sense. Admins and developers have sole discretion to apply punishments.

Comments & Chat Rules

• Comments must be respectful, clean, and appropriate.
• AI moderation is in place to notify you immediately of inappropriate comments.
• Report abusive comments with screenshots; admins will handle issues.
• No self-promotion, advertising, or external links.
• No personal info, harassment, abuse, or bullying.
• No hate speech or discrimination.
• No political content.
• No spam.

Profile Rules

• You may edit your profile. Do not use offensive language, imagery, or banners.
• "About Me" and profile banners must follow all general and content rules.
• Your public profile displays: username, about me, profile banner, points (PP), coins, EXP, number of published levels, featured levels, and verified levels.
• Viewing other profiles is allowed, but do not harass or stalk other users.

Level Publishing Rules

• Only use content you have permission for (songs, images, models, etc.).
• Music and audio files inside level archives must be original, licensed, public domain, or otherwise legally permitted.
• Do not upload popular songs, soundtrack rips, remixes, or clips unless you have permission or another legal basis to share them inside a downloadable level.
• Plagiarism is strictly prohibited.
• Levels must be clean, professional, and original.
• Do not reupload levels, audio, or assets that were removed for copyright reasons, and do not encourage others to bypass takedown decisions.
• Copyright owners may request removal of their content by following our Copyright Policy, emailing [email protected], or using our portal.
• Levels must meet minimum standards for verified status.

Level Verification Requirements

To request verified status for your level (which allows players to earn PP), all of the following must be met:

• The level contains music.
• The level contains at least 15 obstacles.
• The level has a road or clear path.
• The level has an end trigger and a proper ending.
• The level is well-designed and planned out.
• The level is ORIGINAL. Copies, remakes, or heavily referenced levels require explicit permission from the original creator.
• The level uses original, licensed, public-domain, or otherwise legally permitted music, audio, and assets.
• Verified or featured status may be denied or revoked if a level appears to contain unauthorized third-party content.

Moderation & Enforcement

• Admins and developers have sole discretion on punishment.
• Punishments include account ban, IP ban, and device ban, temporary or permanent, depending on severity.
• Enforcement will comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

Reporting and Appeals

All ban appeals, issue reports, level verification requests, and copyright complaints must be submitted through our portal.
